Casting- Who and Why

For our casting, we were required to think who we would want to cast for our two characters, the man and the woman and the man in the elevator during our scene. Our first choice for the woman and the man in our scene was Liv Rooks and Jake Pratt. This is because they were supposed to look quite young, as they are in university. We know that both of them have an acting background. We want the main character to be a kick-ass woman, who murders the man, going against normal gender stereotypes, so she needed to be strong and agile.

As our backups, we had Lottie Alford-Warren, who was also a dancer and was incredibly strong, and she looked old enough to be a university student. Out another backup was Keir Edkins, who was tall and looked old enough to be un university. We also knew both of them could act well and would be able to perform the fight choreography.

If we were to have an unlimited budget, and our pick of the industry, I would cast Natalia Dyer, most famous for being in Stranger Things, and quite a few other Netflix original. For the male, I would cast, Nick Robinson, best known for his role in Love Simon. Both these actors fit the age, gender, and build criteria of the actors we would want.
